Brandee Stuart, a well known freestyler and hip hop dancer, began her dance training at the age of 9 in West Palm Beach Florida where she studied such styles as ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics at John Mullens Performing Arts Center. It is there that she won numerous awards under the competitive team JAMPAC. This is when Brandee recognized her talent and devoted her life to dance. From there, Brandee attended A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and then later on pursued a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Dance from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Since then, Brandee has continued to have an impact on the dance community around
the DC/Baltimore Metro area, as her free-style is unique and widely recognized in the club dance
community. She co-founded one of the area’s first freestyle crews, Salacious Funk, who had the
opportunity to open for Dirty Vegas. Later on she became the only female member of Boogie Knightz, a nationally recognized popping, locking and freestyle group who you might have seen dancing for Washington Wizards basketball team. Later on she became a dancer for the internationally known hip hop troupe - Culture Shock (DC Chapter) along side some of the industries best choreographers such as Tony Czar, Lyle Beniga and JoJo Diggs.
In 2008, Brandee was responsible for the development Jamz Dance Center in Pasadena, Maryland which welcomed dancers of all styles and genres. Within only four years, the studio quickly became well known and was recognized both regionally and nationally for it’s edgy choreography and unique flavor; as well as it’s ability to free the minds of young dancers and and inspire them to find themselves through dance. Brandee was nominated for Choreographer of the Year by Headliners National Dance Competition and won many choreographer awards through various dance competitions - from Solos to Productions.
In 2012 Brandee was hired to choreograph a web based commercial for AT&T. She was also nominated Captain of the USA Team to attend World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Germany through the United States Dance Sport Federation.
She has been dancing, teaching and choreographing for over 25 years and will continue to share her passion for years to come.
