I'm sorry if i didn't put the lady's name, the reason being I really don't know what their names are. I thought that you just need some info as to who the finalists are, it's no longer my problem to decipher who their partners are.

Joking or not joking, sexist or chivalrous or whatever, these are the kinds of comments that make people think they won't bother posting results anymore. It seems extremely rude to me to comment when someone is kind enough to give some information that other people would like to have and apparently don't have access to.
In any individual case I can certainly agree. That said, the fact that this practice -- when it happens -- almost exclusively excludes the women is indicative of a larger structural sexism.
Well- I was JOKING...hence the in my post. I really found it comical to think about all of those fellas out there all alone... That said, those guys have partners who put in time and effort and work equally as hard as they do. They love dancing, and judging by the placements of these couples, are very talented in their own right and deserve to have their names mentioned. *feeling stupid* I completely missed that there was any angst here. I appreciate every DFer who takes the time to post comp results. That kind of thing takes time and effort and nobody has to do it. But, when they take the time and post results on their own dime/time, it adds value for fellow DFers. Thanks to all.
People have been saying that some judges were marking couples who registred for an event, but did not dance. These couples received recalls. Some even in a few dances! I did not believe this, until my husband showed me recall results.
