Thanks, pygmalion! I'll admit that I have a particular peppermint pinwheel cookie recipe that one of my friends keeps offering to pay me to make outside of the holiday season. (She always gets a batch for Christmas.) Maybe I'll have something to fall back on if this whole "dancing engineer" gig ever falls through. (And I am *astounded* that they looked pretty after they had been shipped. I guess the whole layering them in parchment paper thing actually worked. Good to know!)
Yes. The parchment paper was very effective. I wonder if it also helped keep the cookies fresh. (By absorbing moisture or some such) The cookies were astoundingly fresh long after they were baked.
