Bachata Hips - Which technique is correct?

    explain in words movements bachata is very complicated,initially are important basic steps,in the course for time to learn a fell/experience a music ,then comes sensuality of the movements

    Can't believe bachata is danced that way in the US salsa venues. These look like a pseudo ballroom couple trying to do a non-ballroom dance

    In fact it helped a lot. And this heppened more than 2 years ago. As tangotime rightly said, explaning/getting the structure of movement is part of the teaching/learning process, though not for eveyone.

    The example by Joe and Sarah is a bad one. Maybe look at videos of Ataca y Alemana (Jorge and Tanya) dancing bachata - that's a more accurate representation of good dancers dancing bachata in the US and other western countries.
