no way - what size??????
I don't think you are getting them even if they are a perfect fit
I think it's 5.5 (Supadance)
oooo.... so close...
Good eye - ideally the toes should be skimming the floor. She also has a little turnout in the second of those two heel turns, rather than having her feet correctly parallel and blocked together as in the first one. Interesting.
huh. it seems logical to me that the toes will come up if the weight is truly on the heel during the turn. seems exemplary of superb control to my eyes but... meh... i'm far from an expert on such nuances.
Replied in the bumper thread http://www.dance-forums.com/showthread.php?t=26486&page=3 .
Thanks for responding Warren! I appreciate it!
Thank you Angel HI. And thank you samina for putting this discussion in the right thread -- I should have done that from the get-go. Thanks.
meh... it's just the way fluid discussion occurs, IMO. i'm glad you brought it up and since i wanted to pursue it further, i found a good place to explore it more in-depth.
thanks for sharing your observations on the subject to set that in motion...
Cool! I had wondered who won. I don't think we announced it anyplace so shame on us.
ummmm.... that's OK. Don't want to get mugged for them or something....
I had hoped to win them myself, actually.
would you like to visit them?
uh.... about those heel turns....
I'm pretty much in the "don't pop your toes" camp, but then again I tend to subscribe to the "don't dance a certain way just b/c you see someone else do it" - give me a reason or justification first.
ETA oh crud, this thread is about Foxtrot. Well, lots of heel turns in SF, right?
They've moved on to a heel turn thread...
