Fascination - Nat King Cole
Over the Rainbow - Soundtrack from 50 First dates movie is a really cute song but not to waltz to!!
Oh sure, throw the Internet at me.
the version by NKC is the only one worth listening to
How about You Light Up My Life?
"All Kinds of Everything" -- Sinead O'Conner (a little fast, but has a light folk-like quality)
"Irlandaise" -- David Lamont (flute & jazz piano; a jazzy folk sound)
"Jean" -- The Andy Ross Orch. (a light, upbeat mood)
"Carolina Sunrise" -- [don't have an artist on this one, but lyrics might be good for a wedding dance; especially if you hale from the South]
"A Time for Us" -- various artists
None are Rock or Soul. Don't think they will find much of this in 3/4-time.
IMHO, the Waltz "The Twelfth of Never" (Dance Super Star Vol 7) tops all. There are also Rumba verdions (I like the one by Tammy Wynett and the one by Al Miller; these are availble at MP3 Download from Amazon at less than $1)
That 'hale' was supposed to be 'hail.' My brain had already retired for the day when I typed that post!
-Two of my most favourite songs!!! (The first one is kind of V-Waltzy though... just a warning ^__^
