    we have Whole Foods here!! love the super huge stores with the eatery section

    and Sprouts

    and Trader Joes

    you know, I love whole foods (wish we had one anywhere in the vicinity)...but I like Trader Joes even better for the pre-made stuff...we don't have those either but they have them in Indy and Oregon...I need to move

    I'd love Ethiopian food better with naan than with that spongey gross stuff that they serve as bread njera (sp?)

    not into that spongy wet consistency...the taste is not the issue...would still prefer naan

    its not wet at the place i get it yes it is spongy


    im willing to crosspollinate my ethiopian food with indian bread tho sounds good

    We have all three here as well,now. Trader Joe's is the newcomer. Of the three, my fave is Sprouts. Especially in the summer time, you can get enough locally grown produce for a family for very, very little cash. And the emphasis really is on locally grown. Love it!

    Not a Trader Joes fan. I find it to be expensive, boutiquey, processed and boxed, and nothing organic. It was novel the first few times, but after that I just wanted less packaged and more fresh.

    im tied between sprouts and whole food agree with larinda dont do much trader joes anymore

    except the kookkaburra red licorice:eek:


    tend to cook organic and we got a vitamix!!!! professional series amazing

    Never heard of Sprouts before. Wonder if they have them in Jersey.

    No. Just the Southwest. But there's hope. I believe they started out in California only, and now they're in eight (or is it nine?) states.

    interesting...have only been at the Trader Joes in indy once...so can't speak much for it because I was running an errand for pro and didn't look around ...but the TJ's in Oregon had tons of fresh local organic....but that is Oregon

    In Oregon, everybody has fresh and organic. It's a rule. ;)

    all protein...admittedly some was deep fried...but I was on the road...at least it wasn't a carb

    no...but still not a good choice...but certainly I left myself vulnerable to bad choices yesterday...just the way my schedule was going and a lack of good planning....won't happen again
