Ordered halloween costume for DD today...Hannah Montana...complete with blond wig, microphone, outfit and white boots. She's already got the HM guitar...all set!

Oh how darling! Be sure to take pix to share, if you don't mind :-D

A word of caution about the Hannah Montana wigs, though...I used to work at Claire's and we sold the official ones (really long, shiny blonde, about $17-$20), and they tangle VERY easily (darn those affordable but difficult synthetic wigs!). We had several people return them for that very reason. If that is the one you ordered, I suggest not letting DD play with it (and she undoubtedly will want to!) prior to Halloween, as it will be an absolute mess by time trick-or-treating rolls around. My old manager said a natural boar bristle brush (you can buy them at Sally Beauty supply, Ulta, or Beauty Brands) can help a bit with the knots, but its best just not to mess it up too much in the first place...good luck!

Im thinking of dressing up like a banana :)

I remember a couple of years back when one of our teachers dressed up like a banana.

It was one of the funniest things ever, seeing a dancing banana.

OK, you WILL be posting pics post-Hallowe'en, right? :raisebro:

If not, ask where you can get elf ears (for LOTR costumes).

Thanks, HnF...will keep that in mind. Keeping a six year old away from the wig for almost a month will be virtually impossible though.

I'll leave it to Joe to deal with the potential misinterpretation of that statement!

This will be my first time at the Halloween dance at the studio, but I'm told that thye like to do it up right there.

I have a few different outfits that I tend to cycle through for Halloween, sometimes changing the details to slightly alter the costume.

I think this year I'll go as Marshal Dave from the old west. I even have some new dance boots to wear with the outfit.
