:)....I like a friend's take on it which is to not focus on sacrificing a thing as much as sacrificing your time for someone ELSE...I like this better...

WEEE, Tango routine officially tied up. All that's left is the "polishing" in several places. I'm so proud of this one, I might actually put it on youtube. Maybe.

Decided I was sick of having my iron spit rust all over my nice clothes...think "I'll just pop into Myer and see if there's a nice one for $50 or so"

$120 iron reduced to $60. And it's purple. Bam.

Random, with a strong enough undercurrent of amusement to keep it out of the whine thread: hrmf. Apparently getting the thing on my cheek taken care of is going to be a bigger deal than the internet had lead me to believe. I thought the whole point of webmd et al was to work yourself into a hypochondriac frenzy so that whatever your doctor said would seem trivial. On the plus side: at least I'm a dude. It sounds like I'm probably going to wind up with a non-trivial scar. Facial scars on dudes are "manly" and "rugged". Right? ;-)

Absolutely. If the idea of the scar bothers you, however, you might consider a pre-surgery consultation with a cosmetic surgeon if s/he has suggestion for a way of minimizing it.

I'm actually not particularly worried about it (I meant what I said about there being a strong undercurrent of amusement in my post), but for what it's worth, my consult today was actually with a cosmentic surgeon. He'll be the one performing the surgery.

Hair is blue AND I got my eggplant stretch satin in the mail today. 21st party in a few days and a dance lesson with a travelling coach on the weekend. I'm loving life right now.

My smooth suit has made it through customs and should be here by Monday. I may just have a shiny new waistcoat and trousers for Nationals.
