I really want this song in my library. Can someone here tell me the title and artist? My searches of what I'm guessing is the title are not finding it.

The song is Every Time it Rains, originally sung by Ruth Brown I believe. This sounds like a cover though...

Ok, thank guy, that's great! I know this song and I have many versions of its, but the above version is a lot strange so that until you gave the name I didn't notice it is "Ole Guapa". Which album can I find it? Ballroom Mix 3?

My lyrics search indicates that the original song is "Teardrops from My Eyes." Apparently written by Rudy Toombs, originally performed by Ruth Brown. This one is obviously a cover.

And yes, Larinda is a beautiful dancer.

It turns out that this version of "Teardrops From My Eyes" is performed by Veronica Martell and is readily available as an mp3 download.

Smooth is fun! It's like Standard without all the bad parts. (Except it doesn't have Quickstep, but you can't have everything.) It's good for when you want to be exuberant in a different way than Latin.

I wish I had a tenth of Larinda's talent for it, but c'est la vie...

I'm not big on latin and don't compete it (my hips just don't move like that.) I'd like to pick up smooth but it's already a struggle to find practice time with my partner and he just doesn't have time to do it too. Perhaps if I can find a partner I'll play around with it and see if I really like it enough to continue.
