A few years ago I heard a rumba version of "Ain't No Sunshine"... only subtly different than the common one that seems more WCS, but I haven't been able to locate it since. Has anyone else here heard it and could possibly offer some advice for locating it?

Umm... I think there is a version of that song on the Notting Hill soundtrack. It's an updated slow version. I'll have to check my CD's to find out though.

This isn't the version you're looking for, but Paul Young does (IMO) a nice cover of it on his "Reflections" album. *Love* Paul Young. One of the best blue-eyed-soul voices out there.

I think the one you're looking for is on the Notting Hill soundtrack. Send Tom an email to check.

I have an a capella version done by The Nylons. Good vocal percussion but maybe be a bit "hard" for rumba/bolero.

Eva Cassidy did a version of this song on her "Time After Time" album.
