Shirt/Tie Malfunction...

Wow thanks for all the great replies here! I am going to try out some of the knots mentioned and see if any fill up the space of the seemingly extra high collar my shirt has. I have tried the same shirt with a zipper tie and even that does not go up to the top button, which makes me believe that the shirt itself was designed poorly. However some of the knots seem like they are extra large so I will give them a try and see what happens. I particularly like this trinity knot! Never seen that before and does seem very appropriate for ballroom.
