In pro-am that seems certainly to be the case! Am expecting to be charged for breathing at the next comp. *grin*
Do you pay double for double pros? Or is that part of the deal? I have one pro that is 'full service'
flat rate on the competition, do pay double for double lessons, paying for both their time. Can't really do the showcase with only one of them. Least, not this showcase.
ah: a three-person routine? Then why not do it with another student and use one pro ? That would be cheaper and maybe a lot more fun too.
Probably end up costing me jsut as much, as the three of us know the routine, would cost me a bunch of extra lessons to teach the student, and not sure we have any that could do it at our studio right now. Maybe one, we'll see. Lots of the lifts, etc, were used in another students routine (differnet choreographer, just coincidence). But she can't do her routine yet. Same showcase sa in my avatar.
Heh, besides, I want to WIN. Could get it back to where it was in probably 2-3 lessons. but it wasn't perfect, and I want it perfect. t hat's all, nothing big.
My teacher is an independent, but he gets us in the showcases of the studios he rents space from. We've never done a themed showcase, and we pretty much used same outfits we compete in.
