Got the dvd from the showcase today. Visible parts of the routine look good. Too bad the camera setup was better suited for a more stationary rountines, not the kind that move around the whole floor.

Anyone else look for songs out of the ordinary for their showcases? Had choreography started on my new foxtrot this weekend, and coach seemed a bit surprised when I played song I had chosen (Far Away by Nickelback). My other two showcases the songs aren't too far from a traditional feel, but this one is obviously a bit different. Even though it's not traditional foxtrot feel though, pro and I agreed that song has such emotion, would make a great showcase. And so far, love the choreography.
