Soaring gas prices

    I bought gas yesterday for $1.88 a gallon.

    You're kidding????? That is amazing, Purr. I thought $2.35 here was good!

    Hey, I paid $1.10.

    Oh, wait a minute, that was a litre....

    No, I'm not kidding. It's amazing that I'm paying less than half per gallon of what I was paying only a few months ago. There's something really wrong with that scenerio, especially when I read about gas companies posting record profits.

    Gas prices are still dropping. I saw prices $1.78 a gallon this morning.

    That's awesome! Where in the US are you? I saw gas for $2.09/gallon CASH this morning and plan to go there after work.

    84 c a liter - now why do we pay more and yet we are one of the major suppliers to you guys??? I wonder if its all taxes, bet its not.

    well, lets see when I moved to Baltimore I remember it being $0.87/gal....

    I paid $2.25 the other day. And then yesterday I saw gas for $2.13! Happy days!

    $1.57...less than $20 to fill up. Cool.

    Wow, and here I was thinking $1.69 was cheap.

    Yeah, I called my mom the other day all excited about paying $1.67 and she was, "Yeah, still more than we're paying.":rolleyes:

    What's fascinating is that (I was reading an article stating that) OPEC is in trouble of potentially breaking apart.

    $1.65 and that's with the collar county taxes, etc.

    Hold on peoples - it may be down now but there is still only a limited reserve. Lets not fall in to the same trap the umpteenth time OK?

    Lowest price in town right now at 1.59 at the local Maverik station. Make that 1.57 if you have one their cards.

    I had heard on a radio talk show about a year and a half ago that we would probably never see gas prices below 2.00 a gallon again.
