Oh my gosh! I paid ... wait for it ... $0.99 a gallon for gas today. Gotta love Kroger. Quadruple points for gift cards. Holiday gifting season. $500 in gift cards = $2.00 off per gallon of gas. I filled up for $14.59. Tra la la. Heck. Even though I'm buying most of my gifts from Amazon, I'm buying Amazon gift cards from Kroger first. The $2.00 a gallon deal is good through December 30. Woohoo!
Petrol just stayed down at 131.9 cents per litre for over two weeks. Only costs me $80 to fill up my tank*...except that I use premium petrol, so it costs $85. *Partial sarcasm... It's now gone back up to where it usually sits - about $1.50 a litre.
My $0.99 is VERY atypical (hence my need to gloat lol.) Gas is about $0.75 a litre here, which is the lowest it's been in quite a long time and, from what i hear, a bit lower than most other parts of the US, right atm. My $0.25 a litre coup was accomplished by buying far too much junk at a grocer's shop so that I "earned" discounts at their on-site petrol station. Eh. I would've spent the money anyway. May as well get a deal on gas, right?
