Help with this track please This version of "Tú, el cielo y tú" is neither a Caló nor a DiSarli production. So, which orchestra is actually playing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yguzethmv_8 thanks in advance
Re: wedding song With so much passion? (only for desperate lovers in mild summer nights..) Thanks border! Unfortunately the year when this piece was recording is not available. According to the poor stereo quality and the late "Tango Joven easy listening Sound" it must be out of the 60s. The tracks with Caló on this album were taken 1972. But I think the Di Paulo pieces may date earlier.
de Paulo It is indeed the orquesta of Alberto di Paulo. It can be found on te CD "Alma de bohemio" on the Vaiven label. PW

The irst piece is Sentimientos by Andrés Linetzky . And I asked the same question, because I did not miss any of Karin and Gustavo´s practicas that days. I think the second one is from Otros Aires, perhaps their 2nd album. I havent got time to brows my library, right now, sorry. Think you can see me somewhere in the back ground. And welcome dt, where do you live, by the way?
"And welcome dt, where do you live, by the way?" Thank you, Opendoor! I'm living in Rome for now. I have more experience as a Salsa Dancer, but am getting up to speed in Tango. The music inspires me, so I like to compile my favorite pieces. Karin and Gustavo are personal favorites. Thank you for your help! Maxi
I have those CDs but I guess it gets lost out of context. Funny, Milonga Sentimental is also a salsa song by EL Gran Combo
