Or else here.

I usually do a warm bath/warm milk/ melatonin trifecta when I can't sleep. It doesn't help me sleep  but at least I'm a mellow insomniac.

I find that while wine helps me get to sleep initially, it increases the likelihood that I will be up in the middle of the night and not neccessarily get back to bed...this last night has been restless due to the neck pain issue and I have to plan a cardio kick class for this am and, even though I have plenty of time, my brain just wanted be to get up and do it long before it was neccessary

Ditto that, fasc. Both alcohol and caffeine interrupt my middle-of-the-night sleep pattern. One glass or serving seems to be pretty much okay. I can still sleep. More than that and I'll be up in the middle of the night. Guaranteed.
11pm here. I'm going to watch television or maybe a film (the one I had in mind is over 2 hours long and I may not last!) or maybe surf the internets?

Meh. 0237 and I'm reading DF. And that's after reading an economics book that SHOULD have put me to sleep. Maybe I'll review a DVIDA syllabus...

Did not have enough sleep last night. Had a nap at 4.30pm and planned to wake up by 6pm. Alarm went off and I snoozed a couple of times before deciding to off it for good. Eventually woke up at 9pm. Now it's 1.30am and I am still wide awake. Have an appointment with the physiotherapist at 9am tomorrow. Great, just great.
