Signature favorites...

If there is such a thing as a dancer's dancer, Martha was it. I just regret that I never saw her perform live. There are few things that generate life memories than seeing the truly great perform. One of those for me, my treasure, was listening (twice) to Segovia play - and sitting just a few yards from him.

In case you don't know Segovia MBB, he was like Martha but for classical guitar. Basically, he invented it.

There's a clip here - the Bach is classical Segovia...,+Williams,+Romero,+Et+Al.htm

Hmmm ... well I heard that J.H. has been known to frequent these forum's, and he has a very recognizable signature. ;)

(DP, what are you talking about?)
English doesn't borrow from other languages - English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over and goes through their pockets for loose grammar. -

love it Lioness! As far as I can trace it the original (slightly different) was by James D. Nicoll, so no longer anonymous :)

Trying to avoid work, so here's a copy of Larinda's sig for Fasc:

May the longtime sun shine upon you
All love surround you.

And the pure, pure light that's within you
Guide your way home

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand

Hey guys, don't forget the thread rules - the quote must be in colour...

Don't look at a thing; Start it.
Don't imagine that it is too difficult; Start it. Don’t put it off for a day; Start it.
Don’t look for somebody else to do it; Start it. Don’t pretend that you must think it over; Start it.
Don’t start halfheartedly; put everything you can muster into your start.
“It can’t be done” but with a forceful start you can do it”
